Who We Are & What We Do
In September 2022, Bobby Cerasoli, a bright 16-year-old beginning his senior year of high school, received a devastating diagnosis of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor, Stage IV. In response, his community rallied together, organizing numerous fundraising events to support his family during the challenging 11-month battle he faced. Through their unwavering support, Bobby received the medical care he needed and was able to create cherished memories with his loved ones. Graduating with honors in May 2023, Bobby's legacy of selflessness, wisdom, and bravery continues to inspire his family and around him, as they strive to carry forward his spirit of kindness and support. Tragically, Bobby succumbed to his battle on August 14, 2023 at age 17. The legacy he left behind was profound. He was, to all that knew him, generous, compassionate and humble. His journey inspired his family to keep his spirit alive and show others some of the same support that was offered to them.
Founded in 2023, Bobby Cerasoli Spreading Hope has made tremendous impact thanks to the help of members and volunteers in the local and online community. We strive to help local families facing tragic life events, with a special focus on families of children with cancer. Our goal is not only to help relieve some of their financial burden that is associated with their journey, but also to inspire hope and generosity of others throughout our mission. The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring to the range of projects we take part in. Our September Golf Outing is one of our biggest and most anticipated fundraisers of the year—and thanks to our incredible supporters, we have officially filled all of our golf teams for our 3rd annual outing in record time!

3rd Annual Reverse Birthday Bash – Collecting Until September 21st!
In honor of what would have been Bobby’s 20th birthday, the Bobby Cerasoli Spreading Hope Foundation is proud to host our 3rd Annual Reverse Birthday Bash on September 22, 2025! Instead of receiving gifts, Bobby’s wish was to give them – and each year, we honor that wish by collecting toys and comfort items for children on the 7th floor Pediatric Oncology Ward at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. We’ll be collecting new, hospital-appropriate gifts now through September 21st. No used or “outside” toys, please – our goal is to bring joy without bringing germs.---🎯

"I wanted to take a few moments for this organization, and the people who make it happen. Especially Angie Cerasoli. Through a fundraiser that my youngest son Craig set up for his brother Tyler, Meagan, and child Liam, that was shared to a Millington hometown page, which Angie saw. While I understand that their foundation is usually based on children with cancer, they chose to adopt out family, which we are so very thankful for. We are no stranger to the cancer. She lives and breathes her soul into this organization and its cause, which is something we all should be thankful for! It started shortly after Bobby's diagnosis in September of 2022 when friends and family organized an amazing golf outing in support of Bobby and his family. The community rallied together to raise as much money as they could to help the family offset costs associated with week-long chemo treatments, such as travel expenses, lodging and meals. Because of the incredible and continued support from the community, both local and online, the family never had to worry about financial issues during Bobby's 11 months of treatment, and they we able to spend as much time with him as possible before he eventually succumbed to the cancer in August, 2023. The next golf outing took place in September, 2023, and shifted it's focus on raising funds to financially help other families of children with cancer. From there, the foundation was born!
We rely 100% on donations to keep our operations alive and growing. These donations can be monetary at any time, we also accept donations for our Annual Reverse Birthday Toy Giveaway Bash hosted at Mott Children's Hospital Pediatric Oncology Ward at U of M Ann Arbor.
We hold several other fundraisers and events throughout the year, such as car shows, auctions, raffle sales and collections. Please keep checking back or contact us if you're interested in attending or contributing to any of our scheduled fundraisers!
